Obituary:

Dorothy 'Dottie' Cutts, 94, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Mrs. Cutts was born in Newburgh, NY, and was a WWII and Korean Conflict Army nurse. She moved to Huntsville in 1958 from Pennsylvania. A charter member of Calvary Bible Church, she was a first grade teacher at Evangel School and retired from Monrovia School in 1980. She was a member of Huntsville Veteran's Museum, the 8th AF Historical Society and a descendent George Washington's Army at Valley Forge. She was active in Senior Friends at Crestwood Hospital and on the advisory Board.

Her husband, Merritt Cutts, preceded her in death in August 2000.

Survivors include daughter, Doré Henry and husband, Will, of Huntsville;

sons, Robert Cutts and wife, Sharon, of Titusville, FL and

Donald Cutts of Savannah, GA;

and grandchildren, David Cutts of FL, and Katelyn Cutts and Jimmy Cutts, both of VA.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Monday at Calvary Bible Church. The funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor Garry Hogan officiating. Burial will be with her husband in the Veteran's section in Valhalla Memory Gardens. (www.laughlinservice.com)

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Cutts requested that memorials be made to Calvary Bible Church or Huntsville Veteran's Museum.
